Winged Euonymous Euonymous alatus
Family: Celastraceae (Stafftree)
Branching: Opposite

This is an introduced shrub commonly planted for its distinctive corky wings and red autumn foliage.  It is not easily confused with anything else.  These pictures were taken in early spring, so the buds may be a little larger than normal.
